The Taigun is built on a localized platform for India, MQB A0-IN, re-engineered to meet the needs of Indian Buyers. It is powered by a locally produced 1.0-litre three-cylinder TSI (Turbocharged Stratified Injected) motor, making 115PS of Max power & 200Nm of peak torque. The petrol engine is 1498 cc and is with a manual and a 7-speed DSG gearbox (Direct-Shift Gearbox – Automatic gearbox). The Fuel Tank capacity is 65. There is a consideration for the CNG version of the SUV.

The roof is black and this gives two tones to the SUV. The large roof rails complete the overall look, with the graphics next to the quarter glass panel. The rear of the Taigun looks very elegant with connected eye-catching C-shaped LED Tail lamps and a horizontal light bar running across the boot line. The Shiny Volkswagen Logo is in the rear center. When it comes to the bottom, the ground clearance is 205 mm, which is good for traveling in all kinds of terrain. The wheelbase is 2651 mm. This will surely be good for balance and steering.
